The department of Orthopaedic at TASMC has focused for many years on basic and clinical application of bone marrow stromal cell to improve osteogenic potential of bone grafts. This approach involves the use of autogenous marrow cells impregnated in various types of bone grafting material such as xeografts and allografts and lately biodegradable materials.
